ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - A St. Louis Community College instructor is recognized for her brave actions.
Thursday night the Board of Trustees honored Aurora Hill for helping to save a freshman student who was attacked at the Meramec campus last April.
The suspect followed the victim, Blythe Grupe, into the restroom and choked her. But the student was able to get Hill's attention by screaming.
A new scholarship will be established in Hill's name.
