WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (AP) - Webster University's new campus in Ghana has received approval from the Higher Learning Commission, and classes will start in January.
The HLC's approval, announced Monday, ensures that graduates will hold degrees recognized in both Ghana and the U.S.
Webster University's main campus is in Webster Groves, Mo., a St. Louis suburb. It also has campuses in Austria, China, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
The university announced in the summer that Ghana's Ministry of Education had accredited the campus in Accra, Ghana.
