ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The government shutdown that began at midnight on Tuesday has caused the Missouri National Guard's weekend drill activities to be postponed.
The Guard will still be able to respond to a state of emergency or any missions given to them by Gov. Jay Nixon. It has not yet been determined how many of the Guard's federal technicians will keep getting paid.
All missed drill activities will be rescheduled when government action resumes.
