More than 76,000 people visited Illinois' state-run website on the first day healthcare coverage was available Tuesday. By Wednesday, that number had reached 231,430.
Illinois' official online health marketplace is called Get Covered Illinois. The site says it had 71,000 unique visitors Tuesday
Page views have totaled more than 793,508, with an average of six page views per visit.
The Help Desk, which is Illinois' healthcare phone hotline, reports fielding 779 calls as of 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The state of Missouri doesn't have a state-run application process. Its exchanges are being run by the federal government, and so far, no national numbers are being released.
