(KSDK Sports) -- The St. Louis Cardinals head west to Los Angeles to continue their National League Championship Series with the Dodgers, and things could not be looking any better for the Redbirds.
Pitching has been the story thus far in the series, as both team's potent offenses have been held in check. And that set's up well for the Cardinals as they have 19 game winner Adam Wainwright who looks to go 3-0 in the postseason. In two victories over the Pirates Wainwright has allowed two runs on eleven hits over 16 innings.
In two games, the Dodgers appear frustrated after they were unbeatable for a long stretch of the second half of the season. The bats totaled just five hits and walked once and have not scored in 19 innings.
The Dodgers turn to right hander Hyun-Jin Ryu to get the team in the win column against St Louis. Ryu struggled in his lone appearance in the NLDS in a 13-6 win (ND) where he allowed four runs in three frames.
