ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The St. Louis Cardinals will play the Pittsburgh Pirates Thursday in Game 1 of the National League Division Series at Busch Stadium.
This is the Cardinals' 10th appearance in the post-season since 2000, and their 26th appearance in the post-season in franchise history.
Tickets are still available for Thursday's game, and can be purchased through the team's website.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR NLDS HOME GAMES
NLDS Game 1 - Thursday, Oct. 3 - Busch Stadium - 4:07 p.m. (TBS)
1 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Pre-game pep rally in Ballpark Village parking lot, featuring music by DJ Todd Thomas, entertainment, prizes, Fredbrid, the 2011 World Series trophy, and more. Former pitcher Andy Benes will sign autographs from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., and the Budweiser Clydesdales will appear in the parking lot.
2 p.m. - Busch Stadium gates open. Fans will receive a Cardinals rally towel courtesy of Mercy
3:30 p.m. - Pre-game ceremony begins. The Budweiser Clydesdales will parade around the warning track. The National Anthem will be sung by Four Digit Chord, an a cappella group of civilian and military volunteers from Scott Air Force Base. Colors will be presented by 375 AMW Honor Guard, also from SAFB. Broadcaster Mike Shannon will throw the first pitch.

NLDS Game 2 - Friday, Oct. 4 - Busch Stadium - 12:07 p.m. (MLBN)
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Pre-game pep rally in Ballpark Village parking lot, featuring music by DJ Todd Thomas, entertainment, prizes, Fredbrid, the 2011 World Series trophy, and more. A former Cardinals player will sign autographs from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
10 a.m. - Busch Stadium gates open. All fans will receive a Cardinals rally towel courtesy of MasterCard and Firestone.
11:45 a.m. - Pre-game ceremony begins. Retired Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Generald Wilson will sing the National Anthem, and the 206th Regional Support Group Army Reserves based in Springfield, Ill. will hold a large flag during the anthem. Colors will be presented by Joint Service Color Guard from the U.S. Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base. Pitcher Chris Carpenter will throw out the first pitch.
NLDS Game 3 - Sunday, Oct. 6 - PNC Park - 3:30 p.m. (TBS)

Two hours before game time the gates to Busch Stadium will open. All fans will receive a Cardinals rally towel courtesy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and State Farm.
The pre-game ceremony will begin 20 minutes before game time. Colors will be presented by U.S. Marines with Recruiting St. Louis. The singer of the National Anthem and the thrower of the first pitcher are to be determined.
TBS will air the NLDS games, with the exception of Friday's game, which will be exclusively available on MLB Network. Here is where fans can find the networks:

The Missouri Department of Transportation will limit road work when the Cardinals are playing at home during the post-season. MetroLink will have extra staff on hand during the home games to help with baseball crowds. Additional service will be added as necessary. RALLY EVERYONE DAYS
Local businesses, schools, and other organizations are encouraged to help kids in our community by participating in Rally Everyone Day (RED). The effort was launched during the 2011 post-season, and is the team's version of an office dress-down day. Participating organizations make a donation to Cardinals Care in exchange to wearing Cardinals gear to school or work. To participate, register your organization through the Cardinals' website. Be sure to tweet photos of your organization using the hashtag #RED4Kids.
Post-season merchandise is available in the Team Store, which opens at 9 a.m. on game days. It will briefly close for 30 minutes before gates open. Cardinals Authentics in Ford Plaza is the only place to get official, game-used, limited edition, and autographed memorabilia.
The Cardinals Magazine ($5) and the Cardinals Yearbook ($15) can be purchased through the Team Store or online through the Cardinals' website.
New post-season food items will be on the menu at Busch Stadium, including the All-American Grilled Cheese (Section 141), Grilled Cheese Supreme (Redbird Club), Pecan Bacon Dog (Section 599), Pepper Bacon Dog (Section 599), and the Double Dog Dare Ya (Section 599).
BUSCH STADIUM POLICIES
- Bags allowed inside the stadium must meet Major League Baseball's standard size restriction of 16"x16"x8". They will be inspected before entry.
- Small, personal cameras will be allowed inside.
- Non-alcoholic beverages such as water and soda in open cups or clear, plastic bottles, no larger than two liters, are allowed.
- Small banners and signs. They must not hinder or interfere with a ball in play or obstruct thte view of another guest.
- No alcohol, bottles, cans, thermoses, hard-sided coolers, hard plastic cups/mugs will be permitted.
- Professional-sized camera equipment.
- Smoking is not allowed.
Long lines should be expected at the gates, so plan for extra time to enter the stadium. Guests who wish to leave but would like to return during the same game must have their hand stamped at Gates 1, 2, or 4 as they exit. They will also receive a re-entry card they must show with their stamped ticket and stamped hand upon re-entry.
