Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - After becoming just the third player in NCAA Tournament history to record two career triple doubles, Draymond Green followed his stellar second-round performance against Long Island by filling the stat sheet with 16 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals as Michigan State punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 by holding off Saint Louis, 65-61, on Sunday.

Keith Appling netted 15 of his 19 points in the second half, while Brandon Wood and Derrick Nix each added 10 points for the Spartans (29-7), who have reached the regional semifinals in three of the past four years.

Kwamain Mitchell had 13 points and Brian Conklin added 11 for Saint Louis (26-8), which has never been to the Sweet 16 in its program's history.
