(KSDK Sports) -- We are learning more about the circumstances involving the suspension of University of Missouri basketball player Michael Dixon.

Dixon, a senior guard for the Tigers, hasn't played so far this season due to the suspension.

According to the police report from the Columbia Police Department, received by the KSDK Sports Department, Dixon was accused of "forcible" rape on August 20. The report goes on to state that no charges were filed due to "lack of sufficient evidence."

But, Boone County Prosecutor Tracy Gonzalez did tell the Kansas City Star that if additional evidence was found, the case could be reviewed and charges could be field.
