Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Anthony Hickey had 20 points, Andre Stringer scored 18 and the LSU Tigers edged the 17th-ranked Missouri Tigers, 73-70.
Johnny O'Bryant III posted a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double for LSU (11-7, 2-5 SEC), which beat a Missouri team that welcomed back leading scorer Laurence Bowers.
The senior forward returned Wednesday after missing the previous five games with a sprained MCL in his right knee, but his presence wasn't enough to help Missouri (15-5, 4-3) notch its first road win of the season.
Phil Pressey supplied a game-high 25 points for Missouri, which fell to 0-4 as the visitor. Jabari Brown had 19 points, while Bowers, who was averaging 16.8 points before the injury, finished with 10.
