Oregon State Beavers beat the Stanford Cardinal, 81-72, in a Pac-12 Conference
matchup at Gill Coliseum.
Eric Moreland had a double-double for the Beavers (9-6, 1-2 Pac-12) with 17
points and 15 rebounds. Hallice Cooke scored 16 points, while Angus Brandt
Chasson Randle scored a game-high 30 points for the Cardinal (9-5, 0-2).
Dwight Powell tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards, while
Stefan Nastic put up 11 points.
The Beavers shot 48.4 percent from the floor in the first half, including 4-
of-9 from 3-point range, as they took a 37-32 lead into the intermission.
Stanford made 41.9 percent of its field goal attempts in the opening stanza,
including 1-of-3 from beyond the arc.
Oregon State shot 45.5 percent from the field, including 4-of-6 from behind
the 3-point line in the second half as it never surrendered its advantage.
