St. Louis, Mo. (KSDK) - Stan Musial and his wife, Lillian, turned out to the Chase Park Plaza Saturday night to lend their support to a St. Louis charity.

Covenant House assists homeless, run-away, and at-risk youth.

The 4th Annual Stan Musial Hall of Fame Gala took place on the same night as play-off baseball.  Stan's grandson, Brian Schwarze, said the Cardinal legend gets a lot of questions these days about the 1964 Cardinals.

"He didn't actually play in '64," said Schwarze, "but he was around the team a lot, and there's the same vibe."

The 1964 Cardinals finished the regular season in much the way the 2011 team did.  The '64 crew went on to win the World Series.
