St. Louis (KSDK) - Another big move by the Board of Aldermen Friday.

Leaders voted to approve $17 million in incentives for the Ballpark Village project.

The incentive package now heads to the Missouri Development Finance Board for the final go ahead.

The first phase of the project is expected to cost $100 million and includes two restaurants, retail space, a live entertainment venue and the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum.

Construction should start later this year just north of Busch Stadium.

It's set to open in 2014.
