ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day will filled with tributes to honor Stan Musial and will mark the first time Cardinal Nation has reunited at Busch Stadium since his passing.

The Opening Day ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m., during which Stan's four children will unveil a memorial marker in left center field.

The National Anthem will be performed by six members of the Gateway Harmonica Club of St. Louis.  Musial was an honorary member of the club.

There will also be a moment of silence for the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, as well as a moment of silence for baseball great and St. Louis native Earl Weaver, former Cardinals Outfielder Chuck Diering, longtime organist Ernie Hayes, longtime Redbird Roost attendant Fanny Scholl, and Musial.

The team will also wear a jersey patch throughout the season that will honor the Cardinal great.

On April 12, the team will dedicate a plaque in his honor.

The Hall of Famer died in January.  He was 92.
