St. Louis (KSDK) -- National Football League owners may vote Wednesday on whether Stan Kroenke can buy the Rams.
The owners meet in Atlanta on Wednesday for a half-day meeting. The Kroenke bid for the Rams is not certain to be discussed, but could be part of the meeting according to a report by the St. Louis Business Journal.
Kroenke the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche. He owns 40 percent of the Rams. One person can't own sports franchises in competing league cities. Kroenke had said he would give the Colorado teams to family members.
Rams owner Georgia Frontiere died in 2008 and left her stake in the team to her children, Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez. The two put the team up for sale last year.
Also on Wednesday, the NFL owners may also vote Wednesday on whether to move forward with adding two games to the regular-season schedule.
