Operation Homefront collecting items for soldiers at St. Louis Blues game

KSDK -- Fans attending the St. Louis Blues versus Nashville Predators game on Thursday night are encouraged to bring care package items for troops serving overseas.

Boeing volunteers will be at each entrance of the Scottrade Center to collect items for Operation Homefront.

Anyone who donates will have a chance to win Blues prizes, including a team autographed jersey and tickets.

Fans can also sign cards for soldiers throughout the concourse to be included in the care packages.

Operation Homefront, is a nonprofit organization, that provides emergency assistance and morale to troops, the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home.
