KSDK/AP--Two fans were injured following the St. Louis Rams' season finale when they fell out of the stands reaching for souvenirs.
The men were reaching for a shoe a player had tossed their way when they fell about ten feet over the railing through a tarp that covers the Rams' tunnel. That's where players typically throw mementos like gloves or sweatbands to fans.
One fan left the Edward Jones Dome for a hospital strapped to a gurney.
But coach Steve Spagnuolo said after the Rams' 28-6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers that he had been told neither fan was
"I think they are going to be okay. They went to the hospital with one of our doctors," Spagnolo said. "I think it was two there's many more things in this world, in this life besides a football games and that's one of them. So we're hoping they're okay."
