The soccer star met with the players prior to the start of the varsity game. She signed autographs and posed for pictures with the players and their families.
The teams also designated it Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The players wore special breast cancer awareness tie-dyed jerseys and used a pink soccer ball during the game.
Solo also donated a signed U.S. Women's National Team jersey. There was also a signed pair of soccer cleats and a ball signed by the Athletica team. All proceeds from the auctioned off items will help fund breast cancer awareness programs at local hospitals.
